What's Happening in Union City...
Union City did it again! For the 4th year in a row, Union City will have a student representing New Jersey at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, which will take place in Arizona. The winner is Precious Martinez.

Another first for Union City, Precious is only a sophomore.

- Union City school's students win big among 7th-, 8th-graders at Hudson Science Fair
The Woodrow Wilson School in Union City dominated the competition for medals among seventh- and eighth-graders in The Jersey Journal’s 55th annual Hudson County Science Fair. Five of the nine budding scientists in those grades who will receive gold, silver or bronze medals are students at the school. The medalists:
GRADE 7
Gold: Christian Flores of the Woodrow Wilson School
Silver: Nervyn Duarte of the Woodrow Wilson School
Bronze: Dhwani Bharvad of the Woodrow Wilson School
GRADE 8
Gold: Grace Lopez and Emily Fung, both of the Woodrow Wilson School
